Description: A
visitor's center for a large archeological complex in Tallahassee, this building contains a theater, a museum, classrooms, administration offices and a banquet hall. This design is a modern interpretation of the mission style as it manifested itself in Florida in the late 17th century. The de-tuned loggia, vaults are all executed in a coarse white stucco.

On the site is constructed one of the most unique indigenous forms in the Southeast - an 80' high x 100' in diameter, conical shaped council house. This unique geometry inspired a stylized but deferential abstraction of such in an earlier scheme.
